We’re gearing up for an unforgettable afternoon and evening at Trout Unlimited’s 2026 Low Country Boil and annual Shrimp Boil fundraiser on April 18, 2026, from 4:00–8:00 PM at George Washington Carver Park, 3900 Bartow Carver Rd SE, Acworth, GA 30102. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Lake Allatoona—with a large porch lined with rocking chairs overlooking the beach and water—this special event brings together family fun, fly casting lessons, kayak safety demonstrations, and a classic Low Country Boil. Guests will enjoy a delicious spread of fresh seafood including shrimp, crab, and crawfish seasoned with authentic Southern flavors, along with great raffles, silent auction items, and live bluegrass music. More than just a feast, this celebration of community, conservation, and camaraderie is our chapter’s one and only major fundraiser, supporting impactful programs such as Trout in the Classroom, Veterans and First Responders Fly Fishing Classes, the Five Rivers Program, and Casting for Recovery. Please mark your calendar, bring a friend, and join us for a memorable event that delights the senses while advancing the vital mission of conserving coldwater fisheries and their watersheds. Ticket fee of $25 dollars covers the great social atmosphere, music and food. Raffle tickets will be available to purchase for a chance to win some awesome prizes. Be sure to stop by our silent auction for a shot at some items sure to be the envy of all your friends! Come early to get in on the casting lessons and kayak safety.

- Promotion & Final Preparations: Spread the word and get the finishing touches in place during the 2 weeks leading up to the event.
