Visit our social media pages!

The date for our Chapter’s Annual Shrimp Boil Dinner and Fundraiser is:

Saturday, February 9th, 7pm – 9pm’ish

The Chapter elected to permanently change the date from its historical pre-Holiday timeframe.  We hope this is more accommodating for everyone’s schedules!  (Plan to arrive early to set-up your food, auction/raffle item and for social time!  Doors will open @ 6pm.)

Venue(same as prior years):
Cheatham Hill Community Center
3702 Ernest W Barrett Parkway SW
Marietta 30064
For newcomers, it is located approx. 1/2mi South of Highway 120.  Right-hand side if going South.
Also, please consider making a donation if possible:  cabin rentals, Flyfishing gear and any sundry items you feel are appropriate.

Our main dinner entrees as usual will be Nelson’s endless supply of Boiled Shrimp, John’s sumptuous Pulled Pork and lastly, chicken tenders.  Thanks in advance for the salad, veggies, casseroles and desert that you all graciously bring with!  Water and iced tea will be served.  It is BYOB for your adult beverages.

We have the benefit of January’s meeting to help tidy up loose ends.  Any questions in the interim call or text:  Sid Wilson, (404)921-7615 or Steve Westmoreland, (770)403-0609

Re:  Silent Auction or Raffle Items.  Please let us know as soon as possible if you intend to donate a Silent Auction Item, an accurate description and it’s Fair Market Value to guide us in setting Minimum Bids and in preparing Bid Sheets prior to Saturday night.  Please note:  we are working to avoid situations where a donor feels the Chapter has not received fair value for his/her donation.  Remember that this is our primary fundraiser for the year.

Raffle Items.  Notify us via text of your donation/s for the raffle.  We will have the brown bags/tags prepared prior to the event and ready to set-up.  We can receive these items at January’s meeting, beforehand or just prior to dinner.

Please be mindful that our spouses and/or friends are 1/2 of our guests when deciding on your donation items!

The Merriest of Christmas and New Year’s to all and your families!  Be safe!  We look forward to sharing a great evening and another fantastic year with you at our monthly meetings, SOTM’s and restoration projects!
