Stream projects kick off March 4 at Raccoon Creek Mark the date:
Our first stream project workday for 2017 is Saturday, March 4, at Raccoon Creek in Paulding County, and our Cohutta Chapter 242 is the lead chapter for that day. Additional support will come from the Coosa Valley Chapter.
We’ll discuss Raccoon Creek and all the other stream projects for 2017 at our next chapter meeting on the 24th when we review the 2017 calendar of events for the TU Georgia Council. A sign-up sheet for Raccoon Creek will be available at the meeting. Maps with directions to the work site and additional information will be available at our February chapter meeting.
Looking ahead, please also mark the dates June 3, when we’ll work Jones Creek, and July 15, when we’ll return to Lovinggood Creek for our third stream workday for the year. Join us on the 24th at our regular monthly meeting to learn more. You can also contact Kevin Doyle, Fisheries Development Committee chair for 2017 for the chapter, via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or via phone/text at 678-472-2074.
